Hotel Los Ciruelos offers a simple and economical lodging option located just outside the center of Taxco de Alarcón, in the Arroyo area. Positioned within the premises of Auto Hotel Argento, it provides easy access along the same ramp but remains a bit removed from the town's busiest spots, which some guests appreciate for its quiet environment.
The property features basic accommodations with essential amenities such as TV and hot water, and while it lacks extensive facilities and expansive parking, visitors find it clean and comfortable for overnight stays. Reviews highlight the pleasant panoramic views and the peaceful atmosphere, although some mention that the rooms could benefit from refurbishment and that internet access is limited.
Travelers looking to explore local attractions will find it convenient for visiting landmarks like the majestic Santa Prisca de Taxco church or the nearby Pre-Hispanic Mine of Taxco. The hotel is also roughly a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Lic. Adolfo López Mateos International Airport, making it accessible for those arriving by car.
With a 4.3 rating from 47 reviews, Hotel Los Ciruelos is well-suited for budget-conscious visitors prioritizing rest and a quiet stay over central location or extensive on-site services. Its setting lends itself to guests seeking a practical base from which to explore the scenic and historical offerings of the Taxco area.
